Do now: Think-Pair-Share: What are the three building blocks of geometry? Please read page 28 in your textbook. Talk with you partner and think: Are there any other "building blocks" to geometry? Does anyone know another word we can use for "building block?"

"line segment," "endpoint," "congruent segments," "midpoint," and "bisects."

2. Classwork: problems 1-4, 8, 10, 18-20.

3. Homework: Practice your skills worksheet, 1.1. Please notice that this file contains 8 worksheets, all covering chapter one. These 8 worksheets will be your homework over the next two weeks. 1.1 is due MONDAY. You will need a ruler and graph paper to do some of the problems in worksheet 1.1.
