A giant California redwood tree 36 meter tall cracked in violent storm and fell as if hinged. The tip of the once beautiful tree hit the ground 24 meters fromt he base. Researcher Red Woods wishes to investigate the crack. How many meters up from the base of the tree does he have to climb?
After you solve this problem, do problems 2, 3 and 4 on page 482 to 483.
