For Class Wednesday, March 11th, 2009

Please get a text book and open it to page 496, and solve problem 1 through 19. Send me an email or otherwise create evidence that you worked on geometry during the entire class today.
Stay focused. A test on Chapter 9 will be Monday next week, it is the last test for this marking period. You will be allow to use geogebra on the text.

Hints for the problems on page 496:

1. 25 squared - 15 squared. Then you should know that to do.

2. 13 squared - 12 squared. But the answer is not 5. Read carefully!

3. There are two ways to do this problem, here is a geogebra way. Can you duplicate this?













4. I have a cardboard box up front that I can use to help you see the answer. Ask me to show you.

5. Draw it out on Geogebra. There is another way to do it but geogebra is easier.
