All this week I will be determining what your grade will be for the third marking period. By Friday, I want to talk to each student individually and assess where you are at with your ability to use geobebra, and your knowledge of chapter 9. Questions that I am likely to ask you during our interview are:
1. What is the Pythagorean Theorem? Why do we know it is true? Look at this video.
2. Any question on page 465. Look at this video
3. Is a 3-4-5 triangle a right triangle? How about a 4-5-6? Look at question 1 through 6 on page 470. Look at this video.
4. Can you simplify the square root of 20? Look at question 1-20 page 474. Look at this video.

5. What can you say about a 30-60-90 Triangle? How about a 45-45-90 Triangle? Look at question 1-6 on page 477. Listen to Mr. Grow, Aaron and Michael explain a 30-60-90.
6. Can you find the distance between two point, say (4,5) and (-3,1)? Look at question 1-6 on page 489.
7. Can you find the equation of a circle with center at (-3,5) with radius of 4? Do this with geogabra. Practice with question 7-11 on page 489.
8. If you can do all those, extra credit will be given for correct solutions to any problem from 11 to 29 on page 497 to 498.
